These terms govern your use of Butter™ web design services. By engaging our services or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

We provide website design and development services for small businesses. Services include but are not limited to:
All prices are as listed on our website at gobutterweb.com. Payment is due in full before work commences unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and PayPal. In some cases a 50% deposit may be agreed upfront with the remaining balance due on delivery — any such arrangement must be confirmed in writing.
For custom domain management (£15/month), payment is due monthly in advance. We reserve the right to suspend the service if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date.
Each plan includes a set number of rounds of edits as listed on our pricing page. A "round of edits" means one consolidated set of changes submitted at one time. Additional rounds of edits beyond your plan allowance are charged at £40 per round.
Edit requests must be submitted within 30 days of the date we notify you that your site is ready for review. After this period, edits are chargeable regardless of plan.
We aim to deliver your website within the timeframe stated for your chosen plan (typically 48–72 hours). Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on complexity and how quickly you provide required content (text, images, etc.).
We are not liable for delays caused by late provision of content from the client.
You are responsible for:
Upon receipt of full payment, you own the website design and all content created for you. We retain the right to display your site in our portfolio, including use of your business name and site visuals for promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing.
Sites hosted on gobutterweb.com remain on our hosting infrastructure. If you choose to move to your own domain and hosting, we will provide you with all files needed to do so.
Due to the custom nature of web design, we do not offer refunds once work has commenced. If you are unhappy with your site, we will work with you through your included rounds of edits to resolve any issues.
If we are unable to deliver the agreed service, a full refund will be provided.
We aim to maintain 99% uptime for all hosted sites. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party hosting providers or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to remove any site that contains illegal, offensive, or harmful content.
Butter™ is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith before pursuing any legal action. Please contact us first at hello@gobutterweb.com and we will do our best to resolve any issues promptly.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
